Norcap rose from the ashes of CI Controls in 1990 with Kevin Dunbar at the helm and Doug Thirkettle beside him and a humble vision of a company of 5 working towards brighter days.
Dean West was added to the crew 1999 bringing 10 years of controls background to the mix. He began to rebuild the HVAC department with small jobs and officially became a Reliable Controls Dealer in 2001.
The bigger jobs came with DDC in various schools in Quesnel as the crew grew and diversified.
Kevin refocused on the electrical with Dean heading up controls as they took on larger projects like the UNBC Northern Sports Centre.
In 2006 Jamie Russell came on board to manage the finiancial end as they grew.
A sad day Nov 19, 2008 Kevin passed, leaving a loyal core group who purchased the company from his widow to carry on the legacy.
The group refocused in the direction of HVAC. Upon the completion of the KEG in Prince George their beloved Rob Wood passed away March 25, 2012 leaving another sad reminder of how precious life is.
The company continues to grow strong out of respect, for all who have helped to pave the way and the wisdom learned from everyone's story.
